Shihan Michael Hebert joined the Learning Center for Martial Arts (now Excel Martial Arts) in 1983. His dedication and hard work awarded him his Black Belt in 1988. He later joined Steve Schatvet in training with Professor Nick Cerio, earning his 2nd Degree Black Belt in 1991.
Mike trained with many of the top influences of Excel, including Kenny Wagner (kickboxing), John Cabrall (Jui Jitsu/ Judo), and Tom Sotis (Analytical Combat).
Mike Hebert currently holds a 6th Degree Black Belt in Ryukyu Kempo and in American-Te®. In 2016, Mike was awarded his 6th Level in Kyusho International™. Mike teaches many higher level black belts and is a Master Level instructor of Kyusho International™.
In addition to martial arts, Mike Hebert is also trained in firearms, joined Force Options USA in 2010, and had graduated Advanced Tactical Hand Gun, Advanced Tactical Carbine, Advanced Tactical Shotgun, Advanced Tactical 3 Gun course, Advanced Force on Force and Long Range Precision Rifle, under Master Fred Mastison.
Shihan Micheal Hebert can be seen regularly on Thursday nights (Advanced Black belt) and Sunday Mornings (Kyusho) in Mansfield.
